It is an ionospheric detection instrument developed by the University of Massachusetts Lowell. It can simultaneously measure the amplitude, phase, delay, frequency, Doppler shift, arrival angle and polarization angle of ionospheric echo. The measured results are recorded on the data stream tape in digital form, and the data is imported to CDR disk by integrated library file, one file every ten days. This data set is the observation data of digital ionospheric altimeter from 1995 to 2003 at Zhongshan station, Antarctica, China.
