Dome A is located in the center of the South East pole, which is the highest point of the Antarctic ice sheet that has not been scientifically explored. Dome A area directly receives the deposition from the earth's stratospheric atmosphere, where the ice sheet is formed by primitive accumulation, storing the global climate and atmospheric environment information. The Dome A area is also the center of the Antarctic cold source. It is expected to obtain the lowest temperature of the earth surface. It is the most important driving source in the dynamic system of the earth climate environment and the most ideal area for the background observation of the modern earth climate environment dynamics.
