It was launched in 2007. It is not affected by weather conditions and illumination, and can provide reliable SAR images with a resolution of up to 1m. It has flexible resolution, observation mode and radar interferometry ability. It has unique advantages in large-scale terrain, thematic mapping, change detection, digital terrain model, fast mapping service and so on. It can make up for the limitations of optical images in time and space.In 2012, 8 TerraSAR-X images were obtained. The coverage area is the ecological hydrological test area of artificial oasis in the middle reaches.
