This data set takes two typical snowmelt floods that occurred in the Manas River basin on the north slope of the middle part of Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang from March 29 to 31, 2011 and the Kaidu River basin on the south slope of the middle part of Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang on April 20, 2010 as an example, and makes a thematic map of flood impact area based on Landsat7 satellite images. This thematic map can provide basic reference data for flood control and disaster reduction, flood risk analysis and disaster assessment. The spatial range of this thematic map includes the Manas River basin, with a spatial resolution of 15 m and a temporal resolution of daily. This data set includes one vector data (shp) of impact range of snowmelt flood in Manas River basin from March 29 to 31, 2011, one vector data (shp) of impact range of snowmelt flood in Kaidu River basin on April 20, 2010, and two thematic maps. This data set is fully open and shared.
