AB  - This data is based on the observation and research work of the previous year, that is, nine cross-sections (A-I) are arranged on the surface of the East branch and West Branch of Glacier No.1 respectively from the ice tongue, and three measuring rods are generally arranged on the ice surface at equal distance on each cross-section to observe and accumulate data during the ablation period It is obtained from the observation results of digging snow pits. In recent years, due to the strong melting and retreat of the tip of the ice tongue, the ice surface topography of the a section of the East branch and a, B and C section of the Western Branch has become more and more steep. Especially, the ice tongue on the east side of the West Branch is more and more ice hanging wall cutting, and ice cracks are densely distributed. The layout and observation behavior of ice surface measuring rods involved in these areas are very dangerous. Because of the dense cracks on the east side of the West Branch C section, it is very difficult to set up measuring rods and to observe them. Therefore, the number of measuring rods in these sections has been reduced
