The change characteristics and spatial distribution data set of the net primary productivity (NPP) of the arid area ecosystem in Xinjiang from 2000 to 2014 are simulated. The spatial range of the study area is 34.3 ° – 49.5 ° n, 73.5 ° – 96.3 ° E. The spatial resolution is 50km, and the geographical coordinate system is wgs1984. The dataset includes Xinjiang 2000-2014 NPP grid map (merra, era interim and CFSR).
