%X This data mainly analyzes the soil physical and chemical characteristics of the experimental sample plot of Ulat Desert Grassland Research Station (hereinafter referred to as Ulat station), and determines the soil water content, soil pH, soil bulk density, soil mechanical composition, soil total carbon, soil total nitrogen, etc. It also includes the plant root biomass in 0-10cm and 10-20cm soil layers in the vegetation survey of Ulat station from 2018 to 2020. The survey time of this data set is from 2018 to 2020. The experimental plot is divided into shrub area and herb area, and five 100m are set in the two areas respectively × 100 m sample plot, with 5 5 m in each sample plot × At the sampling point of 5 m, use a soil drill to randomly sample three times in the sampling point, mix well, and then take samples back through a 2mm sieve to measure soil water content, soil pH, soil bulk density, soil mechanical composition, soil total carbon, soil total nitrogen and plant root biomass in 0-20 cm soil layer.
