The observation point is located at an altitude of 4130 meters in the eastern branch accumulation area of Glacier 1. The observation time varies depending on the season, and the snow layer changes sharply in summer, with observations made once a week; Winter is relatively stable, with an observation interval of 2-3 weeks. Since December 8, 2002, there have been four years of observational data, of which the data for 2006 is currently being compiled.Snow layer temperature:Since December 2005, our station has been using precision thermal thermometers to measure the temperature of snow layers at different depths. As of June 2006, a total of 29 sets of data were obtained, including temperature values of 15 different snow layers. Observations are still ongoing to this day.Snow layer surface changes:Since December 2005, our station has been observing the surface changes of the snow layer at an altitude of 4050 meters in the eastern branch. The observation frequency is once a week, and as of June 2006, a total of 29 sets of data were obtained, including the height values of 5 flower stems in each group. Observations are still ongoing and data statistics are also ongoing
