In April 1999, Landsat 7 was launched as a supplement and enhancement to the Landsat series, carrying sensors such as ETM+. Its various band parameters were close to Landsat 5, but a panchromatic band with a resolution of 15m was added, and the resolution in the thermal infrared band was increased to 60m
