本数据集为1993-1995，1997-2010年我国青海瓦里关全球大气本底观象台臭氧柱总量月均值观测数据，中国瓦里关大气本底基准观象台始建于1994年，位于青藏高原，东经100°54’E，北纬36°17’N，海拔3810米，是全球最高的大气本底基准监测站，也是世界上第一个设在大陆腹地的大气本底基准监测站，它的建立填补了全球大气监测网(GAW)在欧亚大陆内的空白。

The GAWBO was established in 1994 and is located on the Tibetan Plateau at an altitude of 3,810 meters above sea level. At an altitude of 3,810 meters, it is the world's highest atmospheric background reference observatory and the first atmospheric background reference observatory located in the hinterland of a continent, and its establishment fills the gap of the Global Atmospheric Monitoring Network (GAW) within the Eurasian continent.
