中国西北地区土地覆被数据集包括中国新疆维吾尔自治区、青海省、甘肃省、宁夏回族自治区、陕西省和内蒙古自治区的阿拉善盟等区域1990年、2000年、2005年和2010年的土地覆被，空间分辨率为200米，保存格式为shp，数据命名为中国西北地区XX省1:70万土地覆被数据集。土地覆被数据的分类系统是在FAO分类系统的基础上，重新定义了适合区域特点和相关应用需求的分类系统，包括6个一级类和33个二级类。所有数据最终坐标及其投影参数采用Albers正轴等积双标准纬线割圆锥投影。
