The observation data are measured, calculated, organized and analyzed according to the \"four followings\" requirements, and the errors and unreasonable records of the observations are promptly processed, corrected and noted. In the process of compiling and entering the observation data, the data are manually verified at four levels (tabulation, primary calibration, re-calibration and audit) to ensure data quality.</p>\n <p>This data set is the precipitation observation data of four rainfall stations (yingfangliang, test field, Malan, qiaozigou) in the third sub region of Loess Hilly and gully region from 2001 to 2010. SM1 ordinary rain gauge and SL-1 self recording rain gauge were used for observation. This data set includes daily precipitation scale, precipitation extract table, time maximum precipitation table (1) and successive flood precipitation observation results table. </p>\n <p>There are two kinds of rain gauge used: self recording rain gauge and ordinary rain gauge. There are two types of self recording rain gauge: one is imitated Su Ν - 1 self recording meter; the other is dsj2 siphon self recording meter made by Tianjin Ocean instrument factory. The ordinary rain gauge is divided into two types according to the size of the rain bearing caliber, i.e. the standard rain tube with the diameter of 20 cm and the simple rain tube with the diameter of 11.3 cm. The height between the mouth of the ordinary rainfall tube and the ground is 2m, and the precipitation is generally observed according to two segment values. In addition to observing according to the specified time interval, each station should also record the beginning and ending time of precipitation.</p>\n
