            "ds_source": "<p>&emsp;Debris-flow samples are collected by suspending cable sampler or manual sampling. The cable sampling is collected from the moving surges with a bucket that has a diameter of 190 mm and a volume of 0.012 m3 . Manual sampling collects the debris-flow deposition near the channel bank by using a circular or square bucket with a volume of 0.0155 m3 or 0.009 m3, respectively. \nThe sample is air-dried and sieved through a steel mesh for particle size analysis. For sediments larger than 0.25 mm, the particle size is determined using the sieve analysis method. For particles smaller than 0.25 mm, the pycnometer method was employed for particle size distribution analysis before 2004. Since 2004, the Marvin Laser Particle Size Analyzer (model MS2000) has been used.",
