The observation plot is located in Linze County, Zhangye City, covering an area of 100 m × 100 m, with its center at 100°07′09″E, 39°24′52″N and an elevation of 1,382 m above sea level. The site is fully fenced and protected from grazing, with a 50-meter buffer zone surrounding the core plot designated for destructive sampling. The monitored hydrological parameters primarily include desert soil water content, groundwater table depth, soil moisture constants, evaporation, evapotranspiration, and rainwater quality.",
