            "ds_source": "<p>The soil spatial database, i.e. the national 1:1 million digital soil map, is based on the soil map of the people's Republic of China (1:1 million) compiled and published by the national census offices in 1995, which has been completed after digital processing, map sheet connection and editing. The digital soil map reflects the face of the original soil map truthfully and inherits the mapping unit of the original soil map. Most of the basic mapping units are soil genera, which are divided into 12 soil classes, 61 soil classes and 235 sub classes. It is the only and most detailed digital soil map in China at present.",

The establishment of the database was supported by the knowledge innovation program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and completed under the leadership of Liu Jiyuan and Zhuang Dafang. </p>",
