Using TM, MSS satellite images of different scales in the mid-1980s and early 1990s, as well as various electronic geographic data files accumulated by the Research Institute, the ecological background database of Xinjiang is constructed, which reflects the basic natural resources of 1:4 million vegetation in Xinjiang abundantly and intuitively.
