The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of climate change and increasing CO2 concentrations on carbon storage in the arid and semi-arid regions of northern China, providing a scientific basis for understanding the carbon cycle of ecosystems in northern China and developing corresponding ecological protection strategies. The data includes total carbon pool, vegetation carbon pool, soil carbon pool, and litter carbon pool.
