In 1998, China's 15th Antarctic Scientific Expedition conducted its first field scientific expedition to the Grove Mountains region and discovered four Antarctic meteorites. In the Antarctic summers of 1999/2000 and 2002/2003, China's 16th and 19th Antarctic scientific expeditions, the Grove Mountain Field Team, collected 28 and 4448 meteorites on the blue ice of Grove Mountain, respectively, bringing the total number of Antarctic meteorites in China to 4480. This dataset contains field collection records of 4480 meteorites. This dataset is the Grove Mountains meteorite catalog from the 19th Antarctic Expedition of China in 2002-2003.
