AB  - On July 12, 2003, China's second Arctic scientific expedition departed from Dalian. On July 24, 2003, it began conducting ocean surveys in the Arctic Bering Sea, Chukchi Sea, Canadian Basin, and Beaufort Sea, obtaining multi-disciplinary three-dimensional measured data on marine hydrology, sea ice, atmosphere, marine chemistry, marine biology, and marine geology from 209 stations.
