The CASA model is used to estimate the NPP of vegetation. NPP is mainly calculated based on the product of the Absorbed Photosynthetic Active Radiation (APAR) absorbed by vegetation and the actual light energy utilization efficiency. The main calculation formula is as follows: NPPx,t=APAR(x,t)×ε(x,t).
