TY - Data T1 - Smart Campus Network Traffic, Packet-Rate and Energy-Consumption Dataset A1 - zhu xia PY - 2026 DA - 2026-07-09 PB - National Cryosphere Desert Data Center AB - This dataset focuses on issues such as traffic congestion, user experience assurance, and device energy consumption optimization in high-density campus wireless local area networks (WLANs). It comprises anonymized traffic/packet transmission rate records and access device energy consumption logs from Huawei equipment, supporting research in areas such as cooperative game modeling for smart campus networks, packet transmission rate allocation, network energy optimization, and the assessment of bandwidth utilization and packet loss rates. The dataset consists of two XLSX files: "22_Smart Campus Network Traffic and Packet Transmission Rate Dataset.xlsx" and "22_Smart Campus Network Energy Consumption Dataset.xlsx". The file "22_Smart Campus Network Traffic and Packet Transmission Rate Dataset.xlsx" contains records of service traffic and packet transmission rates, comprising 92,845 samples and nine attributes: aggregation layer device (ID, dimensionless, range 1–2), access layer device (ID, dimensionless, range 1–48), application layer device (service/application ID, dimensionless, range 1–24), start time (time step, seconds, range 0–59,999), end time (time step, seconds, range 1–60,000), duration (service flow duration, seconds, range 1–9,999,359), flow size (data volume, KB, range 1–708,571), uplink/downlink (direction classification code, dimensionless), and rate (average packet transmission rate, Mbps, range 0.000258–7.029171). The file "22_Smart Campus Network Energy Consumption Dataset.xlsx" contains records of access device energy consumption observations and algorithm optimization tests, comprising 48 samples and two energy consumption parameters: Energy Consumption Sequence 0 and Energy Consumption Sequence 1. Specifically, energy consumption sequence 0 represents the energy consumption of the access devices prior to algorithm optimization, measured in Joules (J), with a value range of 227,695.6–121,037,247.6; energy consumption sequence 1 represents the energ DB - NCDC UR - http://www.ncdc.ac.cn/portal/metadata/12b426c7-ea90-4493-a886-e56bb21d53b9 ER -
