TY - Data T1 - Horizontal (Lateral) Displacement Dataset of Majiagou Observation Field in Zigui, Hubei Province (2024-2025) A1 - Hu Xinli A1 - Liu Junqi DO - 10.12072/ncdc.bnorsg.db7199.2026 PY - 2026 DA - 2026-03-24 PB - National Cryosphere Desert Data Center AB - This data collection focuses on the Majiagou landslide area in Guizhou Town, Zigui County, Hubei Province. The system includes horizontal (lateral) displacement monitoring data of the landslide body from November 25, 2024 to July 14, 2025, aiming to provide basic data support for landslide geological hazard warning, stability evaluation, and related scientific research work in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. The Majiagou landslide is located on the left bank of the Zhaxi River, a tributary of the Yangtze River, 2.1 kilometers away from the mouth of the Yangtze River. It is a loess accumulation landslide with an area of about 1.5 square kilometers. Due to the periodic fluctuations of the Three Gorges Reservoir water level (145-175 meters per year) and rainfall, the landslide body has been in a dynamic deformation state for a long time, posing a potential threat to the safety of surrounding residential areas, infrastructure, and people's lives and property. It is one of the typical landslide bodies in the Three Gorges Reservoir area that needs to be monitored. The fields include time (year, month, day, hour), serial number, station number, eastward displacement (mm), northward displacement (mm), vertical displacement (mm), plane displacement (mm), and change (mm).
