It aims to reveal the spatial differences in Cami spines population structure, biomass allocation and multi-organ functional characteristics. The dataset contains 12 worksheets and 175 sample plot level statistical records. Population and biomass data cover a total of 15 plots from S1-S15, including population coverage, height, number of clusters, leaf, thorn, stem and root biomass, as well as the biomass allocation ratio of each organ and root-to-shoot ratio. Organ ecological stoichiometry data include the carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus contents and their stoichiometric ratios of leaves, thorns, stems and roots. Leaf functional characteristics include specific leaf weight, leaf thickness, leaf tissue density, nitrogen content per unit mass and unit area, vein density, maximum stomatal conductance and stomatal characteristics of upper and lower epidermis. Anatomical characteristics include leaf epidermal cell wall and cuticle thickness, stomatal length and density of thorns and stems, and stem vessel diameter, pit area and pit density. The data are expressed in the form of plot statistical means, errors and significant groupings, and can be used to analyze the response of desert deep-rooted plant population characteristics, resource allocation, water security and nutrient utilization strategies to regional environmental differences. This dataset is stored in Excel format and includes 12 worksheets and 175 sample plot level statistical records. The "Main Population Quantitative Characteristics of Camel Spina" worksheet includes population coverage, average height and cluster number of 15 sample plots from S1 to S15.The "Camel Spine Biomass" and "Camel Spine Biomass Allocation Proportion" worksheets respectively recorded the biomass of Camel Spine leaves, thorns, stems and roots, as well as the leaf q
