This dataset consists of one Excel file containing dynamic data on daily scale air temperature, relative humidity, soil temperature, soil volume moisture content, and soil heat flux of Pinus massoniana plantations in the South Asian tropics from October 2016 to December 2021, with a total of 1919 records. Establishing and sharing this dataset is of great value for understanding the soil water and heat characteristics of near naturalized Pinus massoniana plantations.
