AB  - This dataset focuses on the arid climate characteristics of the Alxa Plateau Hexi Corridor desert area, with the Hexi Corridor and Alxa Plateau in China as the core areas for investigation. It also takes into account the adjacent areas of Mazong Mountain, the mountainous areas in the western part of Qilian Mountains, and the arid areas in central Gansu. From 2017 to 2021, the main desert plants distributed in these areas were investigated, and specimens and DNA molecular materials were collected. According to project requirements, sequence 5 DNA barcode fragments (ITS, matK, rbcL, trnL-F, trnH psbA) from each plant material.This dataset contains 618 DNA barcodes with 2769 entries, including 447 from Alxa Plateau with 2003 entries and 171 from Hexi Corridor with 766 entries.
