The Xintan landslide is located on the north bank of the Yangtze River, at the exit of the Baojian Gorge in the military book, 26km below the Three Gorges Dam, and belongs to the second group of Changjiang Village in Qu Yuan Town. Geographic coordinates X: 3425350, Y∶481588, Longitude 110 ° 48'32 ". Latitude 30 ° 57'02". The Xintan landslide has five GPS monitoring points distributed at elevations of 625m, 575m, 508m, 409m, and 285m along the centerline of the landslide, forming a longitudinal monitoring profile. One GPS reference point is established on the bedrock mountain at an elevation of 571m on the west side of the landslide, and all monitoring points are operating normally
