A relatively complete rainfall infiltration observation system was established to conduct long-term field monitoring. The rainfall infiltration monitoring system consists of a power supply and network subsystem, a sensor subsystem, a data center subsystem, a high-density electrical method subsystem, and a monitoring subsystem. The high-density electrical equipment mainly comprises a computer, a working condition host, connecting cables, acquisition boxes, and electrodes.Currently, this system is equipped with 10 acquisition boxes for electrical equipment, each containing 8 electrodes, totaling 80 electrodes. During installation, the electrode profile was perpendicular to the slope edge and installed at a horizontal distance of 0.5 meters apart. A total of 27 electrodes were installed on the upper platform of the slope, and the rest were installed on the slope in sequence. Long-term monitoring of the hydrological processes on the slope was achieved through high-density electrical methods. The monitoring data was inverted to obtain resistivity data.
