AB  - This data is for the year 2006-2012, the deployment of the material balance observation network is based on the previous year's observation and research work, in recent years due to the strong ablation at the end of the ice tongues and the retreat of the ice tongue, so that the ice surface topography of the East Branch A profile and the West Branch A, B, C profile has become steeper and steeper, especially on the east side of the West Branch ice tongue is the ice overhanging the wall cuts, ice cracks, the installation of the ice pole involved in these areas and observation behavior is very dangerous. It is very dangerous to set up the ice masts and observe in these areas. The east side of the West Branch C profile is very crevassed, which makes it very difficult to set up poles and make observations, and therefore the number of poles set up in these sections has been reduced (West Branch C profile).
