Accordingly this dataset is organized through research of the basic data required for modeling, including field flood water level data on the gate (unit m), river cross-section data and centerline data in the Chu River network (data format .shp) and gate parameters. A total of three floods, 1991.6, 2015.6 and 2020.7, were selected for simulation. The modeling scope is delineated as the middle reaches of the main stream of the Chu River from Xianghekou lock to Chahejie lock, with a length of 34km, and the channel and cross sections are generalized by the measured data, image data, and gate parameters in the modeling, with a total of 12 cross sections, and the spacing of the cross sections is 1-3km.
