To conduct in-depth research on forest water use patterns, TDP thermal diffusion probe technology was used to set up 30 × 30 m plots in artificial forests of Pinus massoniana and Pinus koraiensis, based on forest stand surveys, to carry out continuous dynamic monitoring and research on trunk sap flow in typical artificial forests in the South Asian tropics. This dataset contains one Excel file, consisting of 24-hour dynamic monitoring data of the dominant tree species in the South Asian tropical region, red vertebrae and Pinus massoniana plantations, from May 2020 to April 2021, with a total of 17184 records.
