The study established a high-resolution emission inventory for this source for the first time and determined emission factors through field measurements (lump coal: 3.6 mg/kg, honeycomb coal: 3.2 mg/kg, coal-fired power plant: 0.025 mg/kg). The calculation results show that from 2000 to 2021, the annual average emissions of CFCs from coal combustion in China were about 233.5 tons, and its proportion in the total emissions (production and use emissions, PAU) significantly increased from 0.8% in 2000 to 9.8% in 2021, with the peak occurring in 2016.
