In response to the problems of limited variety, low purity, and difficulty in deep purification and impurity removal of domestically produced high-end anhydrous rare earth halide reagents, relevant experimental research was creatively carried out, and good results were obtained. Based on the preliminary experiments, a step-by-step method experiment was carried out to optimize the process flow and parameters for kilogram level production. It mainly includes the process flow of kilogram level production of four high-purity anhydrous rare earth halide reagents (high-purity anhydrous ytterbium chloride, high-purity anhydrous erbium chloride, high-purity anhydrous yttrium bromide, and high-purity anhydrous neodymium iodide), as well as the testing methods and standards for raw materials, intermediate products, and products, product naming, packaging, and transportation conditions.
