It systematically documents multidimensional data encompassing the physicochemical properties of tundra soils and benthic sediments, microbial gene abundance related to nitrogen transformation, ammonia-oxidizing microbial community structure, ammonia-oxidizing microbial activity, functional genes for nitrogen transformation, and microbial community composition. Data acquisition involved field sampling and laboratory testing, incorporating techniques such as 15N isotope labeling. This comprehensive approach reveals the relationship between microbial community distribution and nitrogen cycling processes in the Arctic region influenced by glacial discharge. The dataset provides foundational support for studying material cycles in Arctic ecosystems and their response to global climate change. Stored in Excel format, the data facilitates subsequent data mining and scientific research.
