In order to facilitate the convenient and efficient application of this data by data users, combined with the special application requirements of carbon flux data, further post-processing was carried out on the carbon flux observation data and its closely related meteorological environmental factors of the observation network: missing meteorological elements and carbon flux data were interpolated, and the carbon flux data was split to obtain time continuous total primary productivity (GPP), ecosystem respiration (Reco), ecosystem exchange capacity (NEE), as well as related meteorological environmental factors (including downward shortwave radiation Rg, air temperature Ta, surface soil temperature Ts, relative air humidity RH, saturated vapor pressure difference VPD, surface soil moisture SWC, precipitation P, atmospheric pressure PA, friction wind speed uStar). This dataset contains 34 sites, of which 18 sites have been observed continuously for many years, and 16 sites only observed during the 2012 growing season. The site covers multiple vegetation types, including alpine meadows, alpine swamp meadows, subalpine forests, riparian forests in arid areas, farmland and wetlands, Gobi/desert, etc. For detailed site information and data format introduction, please refer to the "Fair_data-Use-Policy_and_Seadme-Heihe_carbon_flux. docx" in the data file.
