The instrument was independently developed and processed by Beijing Normal University. Phenological camera integrates data acquisition and transmission functions. This phenological camera collects data vertically downwards, with a shooting resolution of 1280 * 720, and can specify the shooting time and frequency. For calculating the phenological period of greenness index, it is necessary to calculate the relative greenness index based on the region of interest (GCC, Green Chromatic Coordinate formula is GCC=G/(R+G+B), where R, G, and B are the pixel values of the red, green, and blue channels in the image), then fill in invalid values and filter smoothing. Finally, key phenological parameters such as the start date, peak, and end date of the growing season are determined by fitting the growth curve; For coverage, data preprocessing is first performed by selecting images with less intense lighting. The images are then segmented into vegetation and soil, and the proportion of vegetation pixels in each image within the calculation area is calculated as the corresponding coverage for that image. After the time series data extraction is completed, the original coverage data is smoothed and filtered according to the user specified time window. The filtered result is the final time series coverage. This dataset includes the relative greenness index (GCC), phenological period, and coverage (FC).
