The temporal resolution of the test data is monthly average, the spatial resolution is 1.4 degrees for atmospheric land surface variables, and the ocean sea ice variables is 1 degree for ocean sea ice variables. The spatial range is north of the pan-Arctic (50N north latitude). The test is set up with the same hist test but the fire aerosol emission scheme is closed. The operation period is 1980-2014, and the first 15 years are used as spin-up. Data is available for the last 20 years. Data elements: Historical simulation experiments of CAS-ESM model, variables include surface temperature tas, precipitation pr, relative humidity hurs, surface wind speed sfcWind, total primary productivity gpp, carbon dioxide co2, cLitter, cSoil, cVeg, fire carbon emission fFire, vegetation leaf area index lai, mrro, mrros, pfrost, ra, rh, sea ice concentration siconc, sea ice thickness sithick, ua, va, zg, pfrost, alt.
