The EDS analysis results showed that the maximum exposure rate of nitrogen on the surface of QAPs was as high as 86.1%, almost twice that of Cr (VI) ion imprinted polymer (Cr (VI) - IIP) (46.2%). The idea of high exposure effect of adsorption sites proposed in this article can provide valuable guidance for designing rapid selective adsorbents to remove and recover Cr (VI) from wastewater. The high exposure effect of adsorption sites significantly improves adsorption capacity and removal efficiency: taking the adsorption of hexavalent chromium by quaternary ammonium salt polymers (QAPs) as an example dataset, the data was obtained using experimental methods in decimal (. xls) format, with a data volume of 6 groups and a total of 38762 entries.
