TY - Data T1 - Long time series (2001-2020) of daily evapotranspiration in China generated based on SEBAL A1 - JIAO Xiyun A1 - JIN Xiuliang DO - 10.5281/zenodo.10803553 PY - 2024 DA - 2024-10-29 PB - National Cryosphere Desert Data Center AB - The China SEBAL Evapotranspiration Data Set (SEBAL ET) characterizes the daily evapotranspiration (in millimeters) of vegetation in China from 2001 to 2020, with a spatial resolution of 1km×1km, a temporal resolution of 1 day, and a coordinate system of GCS_WGS_1984. The product is generated using the Land Surface Energy Balance Algorithm (SEBAL) and multi-source remote sensing data, including MOD43A1 daily surface albedo, MOD11A1 daily surface temperature and MOD13 vegetation index (from NASA: https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/search/). Meteorological data comes from GMAO (https://gmao.gsfc.nasa.gov/research/highlights/2013-2015.php), and the input variables are all aggregated and resampled to 1km × 1km. EBAL ET can be used in many earth science studies, especially global change, water resources management and agricultural drought monitoring.
