Glacier-derived water resources in this region play a critical role in sustaining ecological security and supporting water supply for production and daily use in Qinghai Province and the Hexi Corridor. Understanding glacier variations at the interannual scale is essential for improving our knowledge of glacier responses to climate change and for informing effective adaptation strategies. This dataset is developed based on high-quality Landsat imagery, with glacier boundaries extracted using a Random Forest model. The results are further refined through morphological dilation–erosion operations and manual visual interpretation. Consequently, a high-quality annual glacier boundary vector dataset for Qilian Mountains National Park covering the period 1987–2023 has been established. Compared with existing glacier inventories, this dataset enables long-term, interannual-scale analyses of glacier change in the region, providing a robust data foundation for investigating the nonlinear responses of glaciers to climate change.
