This dataset contains calibrated and geolocated aperture radiances in 36 discrete frequency bands located in the 0.4 μm to 14.4 μm region of the electromagnetic spectrum. These data are derived from MODIS_1A level raw radiometric scans. In addition, other data, including quality flags, error estimates, and calibration data, can be provided from knowledge of solar irradiance. Visible, short-wave infrared and near-infrared measurements are made only during daylight hours, while radiation in the thermal infrared region (bands 20-25, 27-36) is measured continuously. The resolution is 250m for channels 1 and 2, 500m for channels 3 to 7, and 1km for the remaining channels. However, for the MODIS_L1B_1km product, the 250m and 500m band radiation data and their associated uncertainties have been aggregated to 1km resolution. Therefore, the entire channel dataset is referenced to the same spatial and geographic location scale. The channels retain the original resolution of the data. The two data products are corrected 1km resolution Earth observation data, including 250m and 500m resampled to 1km resolution. The strips covered by the Weihe River Basin are H26V05 and H27V05; MOD021KM contains strips H26V05 for the time period 2015-2016 and 2019-2020; H27V05 for the time period 2015-2019; roughly 1,500 sightings per year (only daytime data are included MYD021KM contains strips H27V05 with a time range of 2015-2019; roughly 3,000 views per year (including daytime and nighttime data).
