The data covers a total of 15 locations in Turpan, Toksun, Lunnan, Aar, Hongbaishan, Cele, Minfeng, Qiemo, Ruoqiang, Dunhuang, Shuangta, Hami, Shanshan, Fukang and Mosuo Bay. Three replicates were set up for each location, containing a total of 45 sample records. Root biomass measurements were carried out in April of the first year and August of the second year respectively, and a total of 89 effective measured values and 1 missing value were obtained. This dataset can be used to study the spatial variability, seasonal or inter-annual changes in the root biomass of Alhagi, as well as the adaptation characteristics of deep-rooted desert plants to different regional environmental conditions. This dataset is stored in Excel format and contains 1 valid data worksheet and 45 sample records. The data covers 15 desert areas, with each location containing 3 duplicates. The main data fields include sampling location, root biomass in April of the first year and root biomass in August of the second year. There are 89 effective root biomass values and 1 missing value in the data table.
