TY - Data T1 - Temporal and spatial distribution data set of heavy metals, isotopes, and water chemistry in soil and surface water in Muli Kuangqu mining area (2023-2024) A1 - ren qian hui A1 - yang hai jiao A1 - yue yi fan PY - 2026 DA - 2026-06-11 PB - National Cryosphere Desert Data Center AB - The Muli mining area is an important mineral resource area in Qinghai Province. Due to its proximity to the Moriqu tributary of the Datong River, the migration patterns of water and heavy metals in the mining area are of great significance for ensuring river water quality and protecting the surrounding ecology. Hydrogen and oxygen isotopes, as well as lead isotopes, are commonly used to indicate the migration process of water and heavy metals. Therefore, this study selected 22 points along and perpendicular to the river channel direction in the research area, and collected 61 river water samples and 143 soil samples during the freezing period, melting period, and flood season. Determine the content of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes, constant ions, heavy metal elements, and lead isotopes in the collected samples, and provide basic data support for the analysis of heavy metal migration patterns in high-altitude mining areas.
