Relying on the fill slope engineering of the Puyang-Liaocheng Expressway as a real-world project, the dataset systematically collects and integrates observational data, including plant root growth, soil hydromechanical responses, and the mechanical strength of root-soil composites. By analyzing the influence of root-soil mechanical behavior on macroscopic slope stability, this dataset provides systematic and reliable data support for evaluating the coupled protective effects of "vegetation + engineering" measures and for optimizing the synergistic "ecological-structural" protection technology for loess slopes under extreme rainfall conditions.
