%X The original MODIS snowpack data product for which this dataset was de-clouded was derived from the MOD10A1 product processed by the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC); this dataset is in hdf format with sinusoidal projection. The dataset is a day-by-day file, from February 24, 2000 to December 31, 2015. Each file is the result of the proportion of snow area on that day, with values from 0-100 (%), and is an ENVI standard file with the naming convention: yyyyddd_FSC_0.5km.img, where yyyy stands for the year and ddd stands for the Julian day (001-365/366). The file can be opened directly by ENVI or ARCMAP software.
