The data is organized around the species composition of desert plants and their spatial differences, and records community indicators such as plant species, taxonomic information, life forms, species appearance, coverage, density and relative coverage in different areas and sample plots. The data covers desert plants of different ecological types and can reflect the composition, dominant species and life form structure characteristics of plant communities in different regions. This dataset can provide basic data for comparison of plant species composition, plant diversity evaluation, community structure analysis and ecological adaptation research of desert plants in different desert ecological regions in Egypt. It can also provide data support for regional comparative research of plant communities in different arid areas.The data is mainly based on plant community and species composition information. The main fields include survey year, region, treatment, quadrat or duplicate number, Chinese/English name of plant species, Latin scientific name, family and genus information, life form, species appearance, coverage, density and relative coverage, etc. The data is organized according to "year-region-treatment-quadrature-species" and can be used to count the number of species, dominant species and life form composition in different regions, and can further calculate species richness, relative coverage, and community diversity.
