"Heihe Integrated Remote Sensing Joint Experiment" is a large-scale remote sensing experiment jointly carried out by the Western Action Plan project of Chinese Academy of Sciences "Heihe Basin Remote Sensing - Ground Observation synchronous experiment and comprehensive simulation platform Construction" and the national Key Basic research and development plan project "Theory and Method of active and Passive Remote Sensing Collaborative retrieval of land surface ecological environment Elements" in China's second largest inland river basin -- Heihe River basin Check. The experiment consists of cold area hydrology experiment, forest hydrology experiment, arid area hydrology experiment and hydrometeorological experiment. It is divided into four stages: preparation period, pre-test, enhanced test and continuous observation period. The most important result of the Heihe Integrated Remote Sensing Joint Experiment is a set of multi-scale and high-quality comprehensive observation data set, which has been officially released to the public, and very strongly supports the development, improvement and validation of a series of ecological, hydrological and quantitative remote sensing models. In addition, abundant research results have been achieved in the extraction of snow parameters, microwave remote sensing of surface freeze-thaw, remote sensing inversion of forest structure parameters, evapotranspiration observation and remote sensing estimation, soil water retrieval, biophysical and biochemical parameter inversion, hydrometeorological observation, scale prediction, watershed hydrological simulation and assimilation applications. The highlights of the experiment include the improvement of evapotranspiration observation and remote sensing model, the application of airborne LiDAR, and the development and application of multi-angle thermal infrared sensor. A total of 235 data sets were released in the Heihe Integrated Remote Sensing Joint Experiment, including all data sets of pre-test, enhanced test and continuous observation test. These include aerial remote sensing data set, microwave radiometer data set, WiDAS data set, imaging spectrometer data set, LiDAR data set, satellite remote sensing data set; The ground observation data set includes hydrologic experiment data set in cold region, forest hydrologic experiment data set, arid region hydrologic experiment data set, meteorological hydrologic experiment data set, etc.
