Focusing on various geoscience data including glaciers, permafrost, snow cover, deserts, loess, disasters and their impact zones.
Relying on national-level scientific and technological infrastructure, providing stable, secure, and long-term data storage and management to ensure long-term availability of scientific research data.
Ensuring data quality through technical review and expert review to ensure data readability, usability, and credibility.
Bilingual publication in Chinese and English, open to the world; combining fully open, restricted open and other modes to meet different needs.
Data assigned unique identifiers (DOI/CSTR), supporting standardized citation, precise traceability, reflecting data author contributions, and protecting legitimate rights.
Providing data submission, compilation, publishing, tracking and other services according to the different needs of projects, teams and individuals.
What to Submit?
——Support original and processed dataset repository publication, support paper-associated data repository publication (data protection and review links provided before paper is officially published).
What to Submit for Project Data?
——All resources with reuse value produced with project funding support.
• Scientific datasets, new methods/technologies (technical solutions), samples/specimens, standards, software tools, chronicles/classics/monographs, atlas maps, expedition/investigation/research reports and papers, etc.
Generally should contain three elements: time, location and topic. Spatial data should also have scale/accuracy information. Format: location + topic + (time). For example: China 500m Daily Snow Cover Extent Dataset (2000-2020).
(1)Briefly describe the production background of the data;
(2)Data source (download source/instrument method information/literature source, etc.);
(3)Processing methods (model algorithms/digitalization methods, etc.);
(4)Data content (data elements, temporal/spatial extent, temporal/spatial resolution, naming conventions, etc.);
(5)Data quality description (data accuracy, quality control measures, etc.);
(6)Explain the advantages or characteristics compared to similar data, and application scope (Note: If data entities are complex or data processing methods are difficult to understand, it is recommended to attach a data usage instruction document to help users understand the data).
Enter citation format, supporting Endnote/Bibtex/RefMan three formats, Endnote format is recommended.
Data will be published in both Chinese and English. Please use English for data directories and file names. If the data content cannot be provided in English, it is recommended to add Chinese-English bilingual instructions.
When there are many dataset entity files, they can be packaged and compressed before uploading to prevent data file loss.
