The Great Wall Station was built on February 20, 1985, located in King George Island, South Shetland Islands; The geographical coordinates are: 62 degrees 12 minutes south latitude and 58 degrees 57 minutes west longitude. This dataset is ice core measurement data from the Great Wall Station in Antarctica. Ice cores are cores drilled from the interior of glaciers. The formation of ice cores is due to low temperatures, where the snow does not melt. Each year, the snow forms layers of sediment, gradually forming layers of ice from the bottom up year after year, with the age getting older and older. In winter, the temperature is low and the snow particles are fine and dense; In summer, the temperature is high and the snow particles are coarse and loose; Therefore, there are significant differences in the bedding structure between the ice layers formed by winter and summer snow, just like the tree rings p>
