On April 10, the 2026 annual working meeting of China Science and Technology Cloud Regional Center was held in Guangzhou. Su Fenzhen pointed out that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China Science and Technology Cloud achieved remarkable results as a strategic platform to support high-level scientific and technological self-reliance. Facing the "15th Five-Year Plan", in the face of the new trend of profound changes in the scientific research paradigm driven by artificial intelligence and the exponential growth of scientific big data, the demand for network performance in scientific research has undergone a qualitative leap-faster network speeds, larger bandwidth is no longer an option, but a necessity for intelligent scientific research. He emphasized that we should focus on three major directions: first, proactively lay out a high-speed, ubiquitous and intelligent scientific research digital base, promote the bandwidth of the backbone network to reach the international leading level, and achieve convenient call of computing power; second, closely follow major national tasks and actively embed innovation. Chain, driving scientific research paradigm change with deep integration of AI; The third is to systematically optimize the three-level operation and maintenance system of the "General Center-Regional Center-Research Institute", use the "Technology + Management" two-wheel drive to ensure safe and efficient operation, and effectively build China's Technology Cloud into a support for the construction of a scientific and technological power. core engine.
At the meeting, all parties conducted in-depth discussions around the key tasks of the 15th Five-Year Plan and reached consensus on five key tasks: first, optimize the layout of the regional center system and strengthen coordination and linkage; second, improve the long-term operation mechanism after the completion of the National Development and Reform Commission's science and education infrastructure projects; third, deepen the promotion and application of the ARP system in the region; fourth, build an integrated security protection system at the two levels of the institute; fifth, improve the collaborative response capabilities of network security emergencies.
The meeting believed that in the face of the new trend of artificial intelligence-driven scientific research and innovation, we must deepen collaboration and work together to tackle difficulties, continue to build a solid informatization base for the national strategic scientific and technological strength, and provide higher quality and more efficient support services for scientific and technological innovation and digital and intelligent transformation of the hospital.
