This project is led by academician Lai Yuanming of the Northwest Institute of Ecological Environment and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Aiming at the key issues of safety assurance technology for major water related infrastructure, this project aims to carry out basic theoretical research and technology research and development, build a comprehensive disaster prevention and mitigation, intelligent management and control and emergency rescue technology system, complete the demonstration application of projects such as Shenzhen China Channel, formulate and revise safety assurance technical standards and specifications, and improve the safety assurance level of major water related infrastructure in China.
